For Her Hard Candy Album

They don’t call Madonna the Material Girl for nothing. The celebrated pop diva has teamed up with Chopard the luxury watch, jewelry, and accessories company once gain (they worked together previously to create some bling bling for Madonna’s next to last album and subsequent tour) to create some more bling off course.

Luxist
says, “Designed by Chopard co-president Caroline Gruosi-Scheufele, Madonna has two sparkly new pieces of jewelry for her latest album “Hard Candy.” The album art features a wrestling theme and on it Madonna wearing a black leotard, thigh-high black boots, a gold and diamond knuckle ring that says “M-dolla” in 258 brilliant cut white diamonds with a Chopard floating diamond on the “M,” and a Happy Diamonds cross necklace featuring 3 diamonds.”

Madonna may only have 4 minutes to save the world but I bet your second mortgage that she got plenty of dough for this deal to save about 5 million more kids from Malawi or wherever.

The Worlds Most Expensive Shirt By Eton

Worlds Most Expensive ShirtThe Worlds Most Expensive Shirt By Eton

Upon celebrating their 80th anniversary of shirt making, Eton also made a shirt that cost £23,000. And yes it’s too expensive like the price of buying a used Porsche.

Apart from the extra ordinary price, it’s also ultra special by Eton standards. It’s said to be made of the finest Egyptian cotton yarn. The studs and cufflinks are diamond encrusted, the studs have coloured diamonds and the cufflinks have the plain old normal diamonds. The fancy shirt is touring the world passing through some of Eton’s stores including Milan, LA and Stockholm and will be auctioned off for charity next year.via

Three Decades Old Necklace Auctioned for $1.38 Million

Three Decades Old NecklaceThree Decades Old Necklace Auctioned for $1.38 Million

Have you heard the name Umm Kulthoum? She is famous in the Arab country.

During her days, she was at least as popular as Marie Callas. Three decades ago when she died and one of her prized jewel was just auctioned off for $1.38 million in Dubai by Christies's. The nine-strand necklace is made up of 1,888 pearls and brought in more than 10 times its $120,000 estimate.

The reason for the high price is the immense sentimental value, it was her favorite piece, given to her by the late president of the United Arab Emirates, Sheik Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The necklace had remained in Kulthoum's family and was auctioned by her descendants.via
