DEOS Diamond-Encrusted Earbuds

DEOS Diamond-Encrusted EarbudsDEOS Diamond-Encrusted Earbuds

To all iPod lovers and owners, I don't think this is good news for you. A Swiss luxury accessories brand DEOS launched the diamond-encrusted covers designed for iPod and iPhone earbuds.

Prices for these handcrafted covers, which slip on earbuds, start at $4,500, for black and white diamond versions, climbing to $60,000 for earbuds dripping with pink, yellow or black diamonds.

Sure, they cost more than the actual device. Which is why some of the models, like the DEOS 32W, which has a full carat of diamonds and costs $5,000, comes with a complimentary Shuffle. If you’d like to add a little splash to your morning run but don’t have the cash, Swarovski crystal versions run from $110 (demi-dipped) to $200 for the Full Monty.

Steve Goldstein, founder of the Geveva-based DEOS (Defining Expressions of Sound), said the idea is one whose time has come:

“Today there are more than 152 million earphones in the world. [It’s] a marvellous way of making a fashion statement. When you meet someone the person sees first your face and then looks at your ears…”

So, if you want your iPhone to be equipped with diamonds, then try the diamond-encrusted earbuds of DEOS.via

‘Coup de Theatre’ and ‘Carnet de Bal’. These are the newly launched extravagant collections of Ultra-luxury Swiss watchmaking house Audemars Piguet. The two new stunning watch and necklace sets are both magnificent and completely distinctive from each other.

The ‘Carnet de Bal’ series was inspired by flower arrangements, creating a glittering floral spray of diamonds along the wrist and around the neck. The 18-carat white gold timepiece includes 481 gems of varying cuts totaling 59.53 carats. The matching necklace has 1,039 round, brilliant, marquise, pear, and baguette-cut diamonds.

‘Coup de Theatre’ is a more modern design with 853 brilliant cut diamonds for an astounding 123 carats in the watch. The gorgeous choker is dripping with 1,673 gems weighing in at 204 carats.

And I'm pretty sure that the price of these pieces are quiet expensive and you can't afford to buy.via

It's another pricey extravagant handbags with diamonds made by Chanel. Forbes magazine called it “the costliest handbag on the market.” It may also be the most exclusive as well. Debuting in time for Christmas, the December launch of Chanel’s new Diamond Forever tote will introduce the world’s most pricy bag to date—and the company only made 13 of them.

The diamond and (matte) alligator bags have the iconic Chanel logo clasps which are bejeweled with 334 diamonds—3.56 carats, if you must know—plunked into a solid 18-carat white gold bedding.

"A handbag [such as] the Chanel Diamond Forever bag is more of a collector's item than something you use on a daily basis," she says. "Like an exquisite car or a rare painting, it's the limited availability and high demand that make this handbag more valuable."

And guess how much is the total cost of this most extravagant handbags with diamonds? It cost $260,150.
